Can CPAP Therapy solve Sleep Apnea? In addition to looking at the Apnea–Hypopnea Index (AHI) from the CPAP report, blood oxygen levels are also one of the important data to show whether sleep apnea is under control. In general, the average blood oxygen level and the AHI should be above 90% and below 5, to indicate as an ideal CPAP treatment; otherwise, you may need to adjust the air pressure setting of the CPAP, or find out if the nasal mask & accessories are damaged and cause air leakage. Therefore, it is recommended that CPAP users undergo a blood oxygen test once a year to confirm that they are receiving proper and ideal CPAP Therapy.
